Malo si me zbunio kad spominjes IFO fajlove. U ovome projektu sto sam upravo radio preko H.B.-a.

P.S. I idi pročtaj mail 😊

What’s new in Turbo.264 HD 1.2?

Subtitle Support

Turbo.264 HD now supports adding subtitles to the encoded H.264 video. A wide variety of sources such as DVD, MKV, AVI, DivX, mp4, mov, and EyeTV recordings with DVB subtitles are supported. In addition to internal subtitle tracks, external subtitle files are also supported for all formats except for MPEG sources. See below for a detailed explanation of this new feature or click here to read it online.

Custom Artwork

Custom artwork can now be added to exported files and it will be displayed in iTunes, the iPad and iPhone. To add custom artwork to your export, press the Info button for the desired video. Next, press the ‘Choose…’ button and select your custom file. You can also drag and drop or copy and paste your artwork into the thumbnail.

If you would like to delete the artwork, use the Delete or Backspace key on the keyboard when the thumbnail is selected.

Aspect Ratio 1.85:1

Turbo.264 HD now supports 1.85:1 and Stretch 1.85:1 aspect ratios. These can be manually selected in the Aspect Ratio pop-up of the Settings window.

Bug Fixes

Fixes a problem exporting screencasts with large screen resolutions.
Improved localizations.
Improved performance and stability.

About Subtitle Support in Turbo.264 HD

Burned-in subtitles and Softsubs
Bitmapped subtitles, also known as subpictures (such as DVD or DVB subtitles) are always burned in (hardsubbed). Text subtitles are softsubbed; the display of subtitles in softsubbed files can be turned on or off on playback devices such as the iPad, iPhone and AppleTV.

Subtitles from External Files
Turbo.264 HD currently supports several subtitle formats from external files:
SubRip (.srt); SubStation Alpha (.ssa); Advanced SubStation Alpha (.ass); VobSub (.sub + .idx); SubViewer (.sub); MicroDVD (.sub); MPSub (.sub); and SAMI (.smi).

To use an external subtitle track in Turbo.264 HD, the subtitle files should be in the same directory as the source and their names should include the name of the main source file minus the extension. In addition, you can add a two or three character ISO language code to the file name so that the correct language is identified by Turbo.264 HD. For example ‘Movie[es].srt’ and ‘Movie.spa.srt’ will both match a video file called ‘Movie.avi’ and will be identified as Spanish. For more information on ISO language codes and which one to use for your language, please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ISO_639-1_codes

NOTE: Some devices may not play a file that doesn’t have a language specified for the subtitle. A language code will be required in the subtitle track name for these devices to display subtitles properly. Please check with your device vendor for subtitle compatibility.

Enabling and Selecting Subtitle Tracks
To select a subtitle track in Turbo.264 HD, press the Info button for the desired video. If the file has subtitles, you will see a Subtitles pop-up in the Info dialog. From this pop-up, you can select the subtitle to be used or disabled. Make sure that any external subtitle files are in the same directory as the source video.

NOTE: If a video file has more than one text subtitle, Turbo.264 HD will automatically include all text subtitles in the exported file. For video files with subpictures only the selected subtitle will be included in the exported file.

Previewing Subtitles
To preview the subtitles in a file, open the video in Turbo.264 HD’s Editor and select the subtitles or closed captions from the Subtitles menu.

If you notice that the subtitles are not being displayed correctly, the text encoding of the file may be incorrect. Turbo.264 HD will automatically attempt to detect the encoding of the subtitles; however, some subtitle files may need to be converted to a different text encoding. You can edit the subtitle file in your text editor of choice. For best results, we recommended that you save the file as Unicode (UTF-8). The video and subtitle files will need to be added to Turbo.264 HD again in order to display the updated subtitles.

What if my subtitle doesn’t work at all?
Because of the complexity of subtitles, not all formats are currently supported. If you have subtitles that are not working, please do not file a support incident. Instead, upload a sample file using Turbo File Submitter. We cannot respond to individual enquiries, but will strive to add support for these sample files in future software updates.
