Job Description
Participate in design, development and support of Java applications for Financial Institutions that trade foreign exchange (FX). Exciting project currently uses the latest Java and cloud computing technologies for development of both in-house and cloud-based FX application platforms.

Must Have
- At least 3 years of Java development on the server side with large codebases
- Java concurrent programming (processes, threads, synchronization techniques, etc.)
- Efficient network programming including TCP, UDP, infiniband, and JMS and other messaging technologies.
- Object oriented analysis and design experience applying design best practices
- Linux operating system experience
- Basic Java-based database programming experience
- Fluent written and oral communication in English

Nice to Have
- Trading/Financial Industry application development
- Experience in developing Java applications with back-end Database Management Systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, MySQL and Sybase.
- Experience in working with remote teams
